Emma Gibbs is a registered architect with over twenty years of professional experience, bringing a wealth of knowledge across diverse project sectors. In recent years, her practice has focused primarily on residential and conservation work, where her expertise and passion for architectural heritage are most evident.

Emma is recognised for her excellent interpersonal skills and her ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors. She particularly enjoys the process of shaping project briefs with clients and leading the teamwork required to deliver outcomes that all stakeholders can take pride in.
Her close collaboration with Conservation Officers, Local Authorities, specialist consultants, and skilled craftspeople has been instrumental in the success of her recent projects, ensuring both compliance and creativity are achieved. With a keen eye for design, quality, and craftsmanship, Emma is committed to producing architecture that balances functionality, aesthetic excellence, and respect for context.
As the sole practitioner of design:M2, Emma manages every aspect of the practice, from concept design through to project delivery, ensuring that each commission is handled with dedication and meticulous attention to detail. Her hands-on approach allows her to combine creative vision with practical expertise, ensuring the continued growth and success of the business.
