Longstock

The project focused on sensitive alterations and extensions to the farmhouse and outbuildings at Church Farm. Major works to the main building were avoided, though minor internal adjustments were considered to improve circulation and connections between rooms. A glazed kitchen extension reinstated the former lean-to, enhancing access and views to the garden, while a new north-eastern extension echoed the style of the previously removed barn to recreate the farmstead character. The dairy was salvaged and refurbished as an annex, retaining its original footprint and timber structure. External works addressed landscaping, access, and courtyard spaces, ensuring the property met family needs while respecting its heritage.
