Old Kennels

The project involved the partial removal and reconstruction of the existing annexe wing to provide a double garage, gardener’s store, living accommodation, games/family room, and a new utility room. A contemporary link was created between the existing house and the annexe, using timber framing and extensive glazing. The existing kitchen was re-ordered, with elevations altered to improve its connection to the garden through larger glazed openings within the timber frame. Minor alterations were made to the listed cottage to introduce modern facilities and adapt spaces for family living. A detached double garage with annexe/studio space above was also constructed.
